We use both Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm wavelength for dark blue and black ink the and a Qswitched KTP laser at 532 nm wavelength for colors. Laser tattoo removal works using the body’s own natural immune system. The laser targets tattoo ink and breaks into smaller pieces making it easier for the body’s immune system to slowly carry it away.
